We typically start at 50 mg and adjust to 25–100 mg based on response and side effects especially if you’re on an α-blocker or have lower blood pressure. Don’t judge it by one attempt; try 3–4 times in similar conditions. Alcohol dampens response. Stuffiness, flushing, and mild dizziness are common hydration, a cooler room, and dose tweaks usually help. Headaches often improve with a lower dose or a different PDE5. Never combine with nitrates or riociguat; chest pain warrants emergency care.
