FAQ
Can I buy Vardenafil over the counter? No. In the U.S., vardenafil is prescription-only. Serv u Pharmacy dispenses it only with a valid Rx.
Can I take it with alcohol? Small amounts may be tolerated, but alcohol can worsen dizziness and make ED harder to treat. If you drink, keep it moderate.
Does food matter? A heavy/high-fat meal may delay how quickly it works for some people. If timing is important, consider taking it after a lighter meal (follow your prescriber’s advice).
What if I take chest pain medicine? If you use nitrates for chest pain, vardenafil may not be safe. Tell your prescriber and pharmacist.

In the pharmacy, the biggest “make it work better” tweak with vardenafil is timing and avoiding the common interaction traps. A lot of people take it too late (right when they want it to work) and then assume it “failed.” When I counsel, I usually suggest taking it about 45 minutes before and giving yourself a calm window stress and rushing are real performance-killers. The other practical issue I see: patients on tamsulosin or other blood pressure meds who feel lightheaded the first time. Spacing doses (and starting with the lowest effective strength your prescriber chose) often prevents that “stand up and the room spins” moment. And I always double-check for the two absolute no-go’s: any form of nitroglycerin or chest-pain nitrates, and “poppers.” If either is in the picture, we stop and call the prescriber because that combination is where ED meds turn from helpful to dangerous.
